Writing, Coffee, and other Musings...

I've been drinking my Bailey's enriched coffee daily and sitting down in front of my computer for 8 hours at a time to work. I've almost finished the rewrites to Forced to Change and will have it back to my publisher soon. There's also the rest of the new story to sketch out. Also I have the rest of the Rising From The Fire series to finish up. So I have lots of writing to do and lots of time to do it in. You would think that means I'd get it done, but I don't.

See what happens is silly, stupid things like deciding to do a Eureka marathon, or a Grey's Anatomy marathon. Supernatural...Or hanging out with friends and having coffee. Or I pretend that I'm going to start exercising again.  Or webcomics. These things are addictive and dangerous and oddly enough, a lot of them are quite furry. I don't get the furry appeal, yet I'm reading them anyway.

It's amazing how much the internet/television/movies, etc can suck up my life and the next thing I know it's Friday, then Wednesday, then Monday again and I wonder where the hell the week went and why all the days are blending together into one. That's the problem with working for myself. I lose track of time completely and I don't even sleep at night anymore.

So anyway, that's me. But new stuff is in the pipes and hopefully it won't be too influenced by the furry, sci-fi, odd stuff I'm slamming into my brain these days while I'm on a vampire sleeping schedule. Suggestions welcome...

  1. The Internet is the BEST and the WORST.

It is best thing ever invented as a source of information and entertainment.

It is worst thing ever invented as it sucks time (and life) out of people.

I don't think you can have one without the other.

  2. Whatever you do, I'm sure it will be good.
